- British soldiers penetrate the southern part of Trones Wood as French troops take Hardecourt on the Western Front
- Russian troops continue their advance on the Eastern Front, breaking through north of Lutsk and crossing the Upper Stokhod River at Ugli and Arsenovich. They have advanced 40kms in four days on a 65km long front.
