Neddie was the grandson of Thomas Fardell & Jane Cook (who arrived in Australia in 1848 on the “General Hetwitt” an initially settled at Yeltholme on the western side of the Blue Mountains, before moving to Orange in the 1860s.

The descendants of Tom Fardell (Carrier , bullock team driver, farmer, gold prospector) must be in the thousands. I have researched this family since 2001 and happy to share my research with any interested descendants…
