- Britain convenes the Allied War Conference at the port of Calais in northern France. Britain attempts to persuade France to abandon the campaign in Salonika, considering it to be a pointless exercise diverting manpower and resources from the wider offensive on the Western Front.
- The United States Government requests the recall of Military Attache Captain Von Papen, and Naval Attache, Captain Boy-Ed, of the Imperial German Embassy in Washington
