They don’t deserve your smiles, they don’t deserve pleasant evenings in your cosy drawing-room or, afternoons on your tennis courts. They may invite you out in the motor launch or the car, but until they have done their bit, cut them out…

Every sister of a soldier should make it her business to see that she sends at least one man into military training, for by so doing she is helping her country.
